True giving happens when you are overflowing from the inside, and cannot help but share. When there is so much love within you that it has to flow to others or you would burst open. There is no thinking involved, no willpower in such sharing. It just flows out. If you have to force yourself to be kind, to love, to feel compassion, you've missed the first step of filling in your own self with these emotions. ~ GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW
Reading this message taken from a Facebook app, reminds me of a phrase: "SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE". Don't get jealous if someone you've loved sharing half time with you and the other half with others.
It's time for me to be not selfish, and to tell others to do good is nobler and less trouble.
With what you have now is a perfect way of sharing yourself to others, it just comes out naturally.
What reminded me of the passage above has something to do with "You cannot give what you do not have." And that for me means, you can only truly love someone if you have learned to fully love yourself. :)
ReplyDeleteSo agree with this post! I also apply this principle in business. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat message and great reminder. Sharing is caring. Sharing means there more room for yourself to receive more blessings.
ReplyDeleteWe all should learn not to be too selfish and I agree with, you should't force yourself to be kind and to do good things to people. :)
ReplyDeleteNice post. I apply this in everything I do. Be it to my personal life or blog :)
